Procedure: Lumpectomy and oncoplastic breast reduction

Patient is a 57-year-old female with right breast cancer who elected to have a lumpectomy. Her tumor was very large would create a retracted defect in her right breast. In order to create better symmetry and prevent retraction of the skin around the tumor site, she underwent oncoplastic breast reduction to rearrange the tissue in her breasts. She underwent radiation therapy to her right breast after surgery. Photos on the right are 1.5 years after surgery.
